If you caught last night’s hilarious In the Flow with Affion Crockett, then you probably saw the funny skit in which Affion faced off against Chris Brown in a Michael Jackson dance-off, which Brown easily won. But, the surprising thing was the fact that Affion should actually dance. If you missed the skit, check it out below. Shouts out to hiphopwired.com for the video.
It’s nice to know that Chris is a good sport, especially after Affion repeatedly and hilariously parodied him last year.
Get ready comedy fans; comedian Affion Crockett finally gets his own sketch comedy series! In The Flow With Affion Crockett debuts with an one hour series premiere this Sunday on Fox. Crockett, who starred in Dance Flick and Soul Men, has created several very memorable and hilarious parodies (who could forget the Chris Brown “Deuces” parody?). If In The Flow is anything near as funny as Crockett’s previous parodies, I’m pretty certain this show will be a breakout hit. Do you guys think Affion could be the next Dave Chappelle? Check this funny preview for In The Flow below.
The 2010-11 season of Two and a Half Men didn’t go out the way it was supposed to, due to the firing of Charlie Sheen. And, according to sources, it looks like any plans to ever bring Sheen’s character back are about to killed off. Co-creator and producer Chuck Lorre plans to kill off Sheen’s character (and he will be given a funeral) as well as introduce Ashton Kutcher to the series in a two part season premiere which will begin shooting this week. Entertainment web site Deadline Hollywood said Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper would die and his Malibu beachfront house would be put up for sale in a two-part season opener, allowing Kutcher’s character to be introduced as a potential buyer. This sounds like an interesting season opener. Click the pic to enlarge.
As for Charlie Sheen, he has since signed a deal for a new TV series called “Anger Management,” but the show has not yet been picked up by any U.S. television networks. Are you guys excited for the upcoming season of Two and a Half Men? I can’t wait to see what shots Lorre throws at Sheen when they do the onscreen funeral for his character.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler recently confirmed that he will be returning as a judge to American Idol for Season 11 this spring. He will join Randy Jackson, who has been with the show since its start. As for the status of the third judge, Jennifer Lopez, it’s up in the air. J-Lo has several new projects in the works for the upcoming year, and she may actually be too busy. In an interview with BBC Radio, J-Lo said, “”I haven’t been forced to make a decision [about returning to the show] and I’m glad about that. I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening and it’s going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year.” So I guess we’ll see. Click the picture to enlarge.
Last night in LA, BET hosted its annual BET Awards Show. There were the good- The Kevin Hart “Real Husbands of LA” skits, Kelly Rowland‘s live performance of “Motivation”, Beyonce‘s set from across the pond; the bad-Rosci’s dress at the pre-show; and the WTF-the mishandling of the Viewers’ Choice Award. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like this at an awards show before. Let’s hope they can get it together next year. Click the comic to enlarge.
