The Georgia Senate has passed Governor Nathan Deal‘s controversial HOPE bill amid protests from many students and Democrat state senators. Georgia HB 326, the governor’s HOPE bill, cuts the money going to HOPE recipients by basing the awards on available lottery revenue, not tuition rates. Democrats agrue that because of this, the number of kids that will finish school will greatly decline because they won’t be to afford to go. Click the image to enlarge.
