Jury Finds Blagojevich Guilty
An Illinois jury convicted former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich on several corruption charges, including attempting to sell President Obama‘s vacated Senate seat. The verdict came following a retrial after the first trail ended with a deadlocked jury. Blagojevich, who served two terms , became the second straight Illinois governor to be convicted on corruption charges. Experts are saying Blagojevich is likely to be sentenced to 10-15 years.
