Is Libya the new Egypt
Protests in the streets… a leader that refuses to go… internet shut down… sound familiar? The people of Libya, probably influenced by the recent events in Egypt, have begun to weaken Moammar Gadhafi‘s regime. Several people in Gadhafi’s government have resigned their posts and the protesters have taken control of Libya’s second largest city, Benghazi. Click the image to enlarge.
After the Parliament building in Tripoli was set on fire, one of Gadhafi’s sons said the leader would fight the revolt “until the last man standing.” It looks like Libya could be headed to a civil war. Could this be the end of Gadhafi’s 41 year reign in Libya?
