Today’s controversial new Keep The Change Sunday comic strip focuses on two of the most controversial “children’s characters” on TV- Bert and Ernie. For years, the running joke was that the roommates on the popular long running show Sesame Street were more than just roommates. Now, Lair Scott and Change.org are circulating a petition seeking to out the duo.I understand what Change is trying to do, but isn’t having muppets come out the closet a little much? Next thing you know, Peppermint Patty and Marcie will be the next duo to get outed. Click the comic to enlarge.
