UConn Lady Huskies Season Comes to Early End
Earlier this season, the University of Connecticut Lady Huskies saw their NCAA record winning streak come to a halt. Last night, they saw their season come to a shocking end as well. The Lady Huskies suffered just their second loss of the season, falling to Notre Dame 72-63 in the Women’s National Semifinals in Indianapolis. Skylar Diggins had 28 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists for the victorious Irish and 3-time Player of the Year Maya Moore ended her UConn career with 36 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block. The Irish will face the Texas A&M Aggies, who defeated Stanford 63-62, in the Women’s National Championship. Click the image to enlarge.
