The PAC-12 vs. 2Pac?
It seems like the newly formed NCAA superconference, the PAC-12, has run a little bit of a stumbling block and it involves the late great 2Pac. The PAC-12, which until this fall will still be known as the PAC-10, filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization for the rights to the “pac12.com” domain name. The problem is, that domain currently belongs to an Amazon.com widget which offers visitors a collection of a dozen 2Pac albums. Click the image to enlarge.
I wonder just how much that domain name is worth to the PAC-12. The two new member schools that turned the PAC-10 into the PAC-12 are Utah and Colorado.
