The new sci-fi western flick Cowboys & Aliens narrowly edged the live action/3d Smurfs movie to take the top spot at the box office. Cowboys & Aliens, whichs stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde, opened with $36.4 Million to the Smurf’s $35.6 take. Captain America dropped to third, followed by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, which became the 2nd movie to surpass $300 million this year.
