LeBron becomes an owner of Liverpool FC
It looks like Miami Heat All Star and reigning NBA MVP LeBron James is serious about becoming a global brand. James signed a long term deal with Fenway Sports Management to secure marketing and sponsorship opportunities. As a part of the deal, LeBron gets a minority stake in Liverpool FC, one of the world’s most famed soccer teams and a marquee franchise in the English Premier League. FSM is owned by Fenway Sports Group, the parent company of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC and a co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing. Click the image to enlarge.
In other LeBron news, he scored his 2,000th point last night, the seventh year in a row that he’s accomplished that feat.
