Kemba Walker Going Pro

Fresh off leading the Connecticut Huskies on an improbable 11-0 postseason run that resulted in a national championship, star shooting guard Kemba Walker announced his intentions to go pro. “There’s no chance that I’m coming back,” Walker said before joking: “Coach( Jim Calhoun), like he said, he doesn’t have a scholarship for me.” Walker averaged 23.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a junior for the Huskies. He joins Duke Freshman Kyrie Irving and AP Player of the Year Jimmer Fredette, who also will be hearing their names called early in this summer’s draft. Click the image to enlarge.
