Jim Tressel imposes 5 Game Suspension on himself
The Ohio State University Head Football Coach Jim Tressel recently said that he will miss the first five games of the upcoming 2011 season, equal to the suspensions given to Buckeyes players who violated NCAA rules for selling memorabilia. Tressel originally was given a two game suspension by the university once it was discovered that he knew about the players selling their memorabilia. Click the image to enlarge.
Did you guys think Jim Tressel added the extra three games to get the jump on the NCAA, who was probably likely to impose a harsher penalty? Or do you think Tressel was actually trying to do the right thing?
