Adele Cancels Remainder of North American Tour
Fans hoping to catch Adele in concert will have to wait. The British singer, whose album 21 has sold over 2 million copies since its February release, has been forced to cancel the remainder of her tour due to laryngitis. The final nine dates of the sold out tour as a result have been canceled, but Columbia Records is looking at possible plans to reschedule those tour dates. Adele released a statement saying, “I’m really frustrated.I was hoping with a week’s rest, I’d be better to sing again straight away. However, there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor’s advice and rest some more. I’m so sorry.” Hopefully, with a little rest, Adele will be back singing in no time.
