The St. Louis Cardinals have until noon today to sign superstar First Baseman Albert Pujols or watch him go into free agency following the 2011 season. The Cardinals have offered the 3-time NL MVP a deal worth a reported $200 Million over 8 years, which Pujols has declined. Click the image to enlarge.
According to MLB insiders, Pujols is seeking a 10 year deal worth at least $300 Million, which would average out at $30 Million a year and surpass Alex Rodriguez‘s 10 year $275 Million that he signed with the NY Yankees a few years ago. Do you guys think Pujols is worth $30 Mil a year?
